Red Wine Ghiaie Della Furba Capezzana

This wine was created by Ugo and Vittorio Contini Bonacossi in 1979 with the idea of producing a Bordeaux blend in Carmignano. The first vineyard was located on gravelly soil adjacent to the Furba stream after which the wine is named. In 1998 the blend was changed and today the wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot grapes.

Sweet, firm and full-bodied, quite opulent with dense and sweet tannins, well balanced acidity perfectly combined with texture, fat and body of the wine. Long finish with persistent fruitiness of small wild berries married to intense and complex spicy tones.
