The Pact is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the highest-elevation blocks of their Coombsville vineyard, and harvest lots are treated as separate, small-batch parcels in the cellar. The 2018 opens with fresh aromas of black cherries, black currants and blue fruits with graphite, tobacco, star anise and cocoa powder notes rounding out the finish. The Pact is defined by minerality and purity, and its fine-grained tannins and natural acidity ensures that it will last for decades.
On the nose are notes of worn leather, sassafras, birch beer and wintergreen, before a palate of tobacco, vanilla, lemon, brown sugar, cocoa powder and mint, followed by a finish of campfire, cherry, nutmeg, honey and vanilla.
The 2018 Continuum shows energy and verve. The wine expresses purity and precision, with high tone aromatics of red and blue fruit, deep plum and rose oil. This vintage shows an approachable nerve of the land in the refined mineral quality on the palate. The surrounding native vegetation of bay and sage is evidenced in an earthy, savory profile. This is a shimmering, silky and harmoniously integrated wine with densely packed fine grain tannins. 2018 Continuum is a wine for the ages, delicious today with a long life ahead.

A blend of Widow Jane's exceptional straight bourbon whiskeys that has been finished in maple syrup barrels coming straight from Hudson Valley's organic Crown Maple farm.
At first a bit reticent and brooding, with a swirl and a breath of air the 2017 Staglin Cabernet awakens into an energetic cascade of red and black fruit deepened by dollops of earth, resinous woods and pinched herbs. An opening blast of tar inflected boysenberry and black cherry glides into a granular midpalate of star anise infused cassis and molasses-drizzled warm figs complexed with notes of camphor, seasoned alder and hint of hyssop that is surprisingly approachable, finely-grained and imminently enjoyable now. Blend: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
